70% Ferro Titanium

Eutectic ferro titanium is manufactured using induction furnace technology from clean titanium alloy raw materials and low carbon steel. The material is crushed and ground to specific size requirements.

It is used in applications for:

Stainless steels

• - Prevention of intergranular corrosion via carbide stabilisation

HSLA steels

• - Improvement of mechnical properties

Automotive steels

• - For the 'tie up' of the interstitial elements, carbon and nitrogen

Boron steels

• - To provide protection for boron
