Ferro Niobium


Ferro niobium is produced at LSM UK by the aluminothermic reduction of niobium oxide (Nb205) from LSM in Brazil.

Ferro niobium is used in the following applications:

  • - Superalloys for improving heat, wear and corrosion resistance
  • - Nickel base alloys
  • - Complex stainless steels
