Chromium Metal Low Nitrogen Grade SD50 & SD25

Chromium metal is manufactured by the aluminothermic reduction of chromium oxide and is crushed and ground to specific size requirements.

The special degassed (SD) low nitrogen chromium metal developed by LSM is used for applications in the production of superalloys, which are used to improve heat, wear and corrosion resistance.
